so...

well, today was there. i got to witness a car accident and end up on the police witness report. of course it took an abominably long time for said police to arrive. it is a good thing no one was seriously harmed, but still, over a half hour for both police and ems to arrive seems a little much. or maybe it's just me.

later on, got to see A Prairie Home Companion. great movie. especially if you get the in jokes for those who are familiar with the radio show. but still enjoyable even if you don't. the whole audience was laughing almost continuously throughout. altman's style seemed a perfect complement to the dry wit and easy conversational nature of garrison's writing. the only problem is that you have to stop laughing quickly to hear the next joke. but overall an hilarious movie. go see it.
